RIBA Enterprises is seeking to appoint an Interface Design Manager for its suite of professional applications. As Interface Design Manager, you will be responsible for overall design quality, innovation and creative vision for the RIBA Enterprises product range, including the highly respected NBS Specification software.

RIBA Enterprises specification products are currently used by 98 of the top 100 architectural practices in the UK, and with such a high percentage of our customers in design-based disciplines, the quality of our product design and user experience is paramount to the ongoing success of the business.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience in creating and delivering visually engaging user interfaces for software products. They will have proven management experience and a track record of effective decision making. Candidates should be educated to degree level in a design-related discipline and have excellent written, graphic and oral communication skills. Candidates must have good technical knowledge, including HTML/CSS and web standards, accessibility issues and strong skills in prototyping and use of graphic packages. An understanding or experience of the construction industry would be desirable.

You will lead a team of interface designers to create and implement innovative visual interface design solutions across multiple products. You will be responsible for the definition of a cohesive user interface design strategy for RIBA Enterprises. An excellent package is available.
