Call for Conference Volunteers: UPA2010 - Embracing Cultural Diversity - Munich, Germany

Deadline: 15 March 2010
Source: UPA 2010 Conf Volunteers Committee, 15 January 2010
Submitted by Joi L Roberts

The 2010 Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) Conference will be held May 24th to 28th in Munich, Germany.

For the first time in its history, the UPA conference will travel to the heart of Europe. Our key theme, “Embracing Cultural Diversity,” will focus on how UX professionals can create great user experiences across different cultures, meeting the challenges of delivering to diverse audiences. We are excited about all the opportunities that await us!

The success of the yearly conference is very much dependent on the support of its conference volunteers. So, we are building a team of friendly, committed volunteers to help with a variety of behind-the-scenes activities such as staffing the information booth, helping at the registration desk, and assisting session chairs and tutorial instructors. In return, volunteers receive greatly-reduced conference registration fees and the opportunity to interact closely with leaders in the User Experience field who will be attending the conference as speakers /presenters, conference planners, and participants.

If you are interested in volunteering for the UPA 2010 Conference in Munich, Germany, please visit the conference volunteers website (link below)to learn more about the UPA2010 Conference and the volunteering opportunity (benefits, expectations, fees, application process).

If you have any follow-up questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
